On October 4, 1887, Lake Street School District 20 opened its doors to nine students in a one-room schoolhouse. Over the next 121 years, the district evolved—changing its name, expanding to serve four villages, and adding facilities to meet the needs of a growing student population.
Today, Keeneyville Elementary School District 20 serves approximately 1,350 students from preschool through eighth grade, supported by a dedicated staff of more than 200. As the largest feeder district to Lake Park High School District 108, we proudly serve the communities of Bloomingdale, Hanover Park, Keeneyville, and Roselle.
