Board Presentations

Board Salute

The Board recognizes those individuals who go above and beyond in their service to the district.  Colleen Flores, Assistant Superintendent of Student Services, presented a Board Salute to the district's new Family Liaison, Estefanio Bravo.  Ms. Bravo joined our staff in Spring 2023 and her role has become a very busy one across the district!  She works tirelessly to support our D20 families, especially Newcomer families who are just joining the community from another country and homeless families within our district.  Ms. Bravo has an upbeat, positive attitude and is a go-getter who helps families access the resources and services that they need.  We are very grateful for her hard work!

Welcome New ECC Staff!

This month we continue to share a warm welcome to new staff to the district.  Program Coordinator, Mandy Aubry introduced new staff members at the Early Childhood Center and shared information about their roles and background.  We are happy to have them join the Keeneyville D20 Family and we are thankful for all that they do!

Thank You Principals!

The Illinois Principals Association (IPA) encourages all communities to celebrate Principal Appreciation Week (October 15-21) and Principal Appreciation Day on Friday, October 21, 2023.  This is a state-endorsed recognition that was first approved by the Governor in 1990 and is annually celebrated.

At the Board Meeting, each of our principals and the ECC coordinator were recognized by the Superintendent and given a certificate and small token of appreciation for all that they do.  In addition, the videos below sharing students' sentiments of appreciation for their school principals were presented to the Board.
