Greenbrook Construction Update
BEAR Construction presented an update on the Greenbrook Main Office Expansion Project that is currently ongoing. The project began during Spring Break and is continuing through the summer. It is going very smoothly and is making good progress, with an estimated completion date before school starts in August.
The expansion will provided much needed room for the office, including a conference room, space for the school nurse, social workers, and other office administrators and staff. The new entrance doors and vestibule will provide three layers of safety, requiring visitors to ring the door bell, present their identification, and check-in at the main office before being admitted into the school hallway.
District 20 Rebranding Project
As part of the 2023–2026 Strategic Plan, Keeneyville School District 20 recently undertook a rebranding initiative to better tell our story in a fresh and engaging way. Director of Strategic Operations Julie Relihan presented an overview of the rebranding process to the Board, including key highlights and the new brand guidelines for the district and schools.
The rebranding effort was a collaborative and creative process that included valuable input from staff, students, families, community members, administrators, and Board members. After thoughtful discussion and multiple rounds of logo development, the final designs were selected to reflect a unified, recognizable identity that aligns with our core values. The accompanying Brand Guidelines provide a clear framework to ensure consistency and professionalism in all district communications moving forward.
The official rollout of the new logos will begin on July 1. Look for updates to our website, social media, spiritwear, and more as we prepare for an exciting start of the new school year!
