Board Member Happenings

At the August 8 Board Meeting, Superintendent Dr. Castillo presented Andrea Schnorr with a plaque to thank her for serving on the Board of Education for 9 years.  We are very grateful for her long-time commitment to Keeneyville School District 20!

After soliciting applications and going through the interview process, Amanda Coppola was selected to fill the Board Member Vacancy.  At the September 19 Meeting, Board President Farwa Ahmed swore-in Amanda as the newest Board Member.

Board Elections were held, and Terry Walloch will serve as the next Board Vice President.

In April 2025, there will be four (4) Board Member Vacancies:  one (1) two-year term membership, and three (3) four-year term memberships.  Interested candidates must submit nominating petitions between November 12 and November 18, 2024 to be considered for the April election.  The Prospective Candidate Packet can be downloaded from the DuPage Election Division at https://www.dupagecounty.gov/elected_officials/election_and_voter_information/.  Details on key dates and candidate information is available on the district website and https://www.iasb.com/memberships-and-divisions/school-board-elections/.  Please contact Maria Noyola at D20 District Office mnoyola@esd20.org with any questions.
