Mr. Brian Marroquin

Brian earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology in 2003 and his teaching certificate in 2004. He received a Master of Arts in Teaching from National Louis University in 2012. He then completed his Master of Arts in Principal Preparation from Concordia University Chicago in 2015. As a building administrator he developed a passion for resource management and began his School Business coursework through Northern Illinois/Illinois Association of School Business Officials. In June of 2022, he successfully completed his Chief School Business Official endorsement through NIU/IASBO.

 

Brian began teaching in 2004 and spent most of his teaching career in District U-46 where he taught Civics, Economics, and AP US Government. In 2017, he became an Assistant Principal in West Chicago District 33. In 2021 he began working in a business office as a Grant Coordinator. He most recently comes to us from Hinsdale 181 as a Business and Operations Coordinator, where worked on the district budget, the tax levy, and managing bids and contracts.

 

Brian is married and has two children. Brian enjoys spending time with family going to various sports activities. What most excites him about being part of Keeneyville is collaborating with others in managing resources to impact student success.
