D20 Instructional Learning Coaches
Jana Stevens graduated with her Elementary Education degree from Loras College in 1995. She later earned her first Master's of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction from National Louis University in 2000. In 2011, she completed a second Master's degree from Concordia University in Educational Leadership.
Jana taught 6th Grade Science and Social Studies for 22 years at Spring Wood Middle School before taking on the role of S.T.E.M Coach for the district in 2016.
Ashley VanMetre graduated from Elmhurst University in 2011 with her degree in Elementary Education with special endorsements in Reading and Language Arts. In 2016, she completed her Master's degree in Reading Education with a Reading Specialist endorsement from Concordia University.
Ashley taught 6th Grade Language Arts for 11 years at Spring Wood Middle School before taking the role of Literacy Coach for the district in 2022.
