What is the District 20 Parent Café?

Parent Café is a physically and emotionally safe space where parents and caregivers talk about the challenges and victories of raising a family.  Keeneyville District 20 is committed to serving our parents by offering a series of child rearing topics of their choice.  The Superintendent's Parent Advisory Committee meets regularly to help guide topics and plan for events.  Participants leave Parent Café events feeling inspired, energized, and excited to put into practice what they’ve learned.

NOTE:  Translator (Spanish), food/drink, and childcare provided at workshops.

Please contact Julie Relihan, Director of Community Relations at jrelihan@esd20.org or (630) 894-4022 if you are interested in joining the Parent Advisory Committee or would like more information about Parent Café.

Back to School Picnic

October 3, 2019

The Back to School Picnic was a huge success!  Despite the damp and cool weather, many families from across the district gathered to eat, play games, dance, and catch-up with friends.  It was wonderful to see so many faces from all of the schools together at one event.

We hope that you can join us for other Parent Cafe events this year!

Thank you to the DuPage Regional Office of Education for your partnership, we are looking forward to more successful family programs with you.
